Grobogan Regency Government Holds Coordination Meeting of 2018 Simultaneous Pilkades Supervisory Committee

The 2018 district level and district level Pilkades Supervisory Committee members followed the coordination meeting in the Riptaloka building on Wednesday (09/26/2018). Coordination meetings held by the Section of the Village Administration were aimed at equating perceptions regarding the stages and tasks and the authority of the Pilkades Supervisory Committee.

The Head of the Village Administration of Grobogan District Government Daru Wisakti stated that the Pilkades Supervisory Committee consisted of several elements. In addition to the district government, there are also elements from the Grobogan police station and Kodim 0717 to the sub-district level.

Daru explained, the implementation of the Pilkades was planned to take place in two waves. The first wave of Pilkades was scheduled for November 22 2018. There were 222 villages whose village office term ended in October 2018 to March 2019.

"In the first wave there were several village heads whose term of office ended in March 2019. But the implementation of the Pilkades was carried out at the end of 2018. However, the inauguration of 222 village heads will be held simultaneously in March 2019," explained the former Head of Governance Section.

Then the second wave of Pilkades is intended for 51 villages whose office term of office ends after March 2019. The implementation is planned for the end of 2019.

For the implementation of Pilkades, Grobogan District Government has allocated a budget through APBD worth Rp. 4 billion. The funds will be allocated to finance the needs of the Pilkades. Such as the making of voting booths, ballots, and committee fees.

He explained, the number of Pilkades applicants at the initial stage was 639 people. After being selected for administration, the number shrank to 631 people.

This number may still be reduced again. You see, there are two villages with more than five applicants so a test must be held. In the Pilkades this time, the number of participants is limited to only five people or candidates.
